The Cocinero Revelación Award at Madrid Fusión highlights the daring and youthful capacity of many recently opened restaurants, which are a window into the future of the profession.
Many of the current big names in Spanish gastronomy have won this award, such as Dabid Muñoz, Ricard Camarena, Rodrigo de la Calle or Óscar Calleja.
The prize is awarded by a jury of more than 80 national food critics, chaired by the journalist and president of Madrid Fusión, José Carlos Capel. And the candidates chosen for 2025 are:

Icíar Pérez Cejas and Juan Carlos Pérez (Moral, Santa Cruz de Tenerife)
Claudia Merchan and Áxel Smyth (Simpar, Santiago de Compostela)
