A journey through the most important Grenache-producing countries on the planet to discover the versatility of one of the most fashionable grapes.
Norrel Robertson MW will travel the globe in search of the best Grenaches in the world, in a tasting that will feature two Spanish wines (one from Aragon and one from Catalonia), a century-old Grenache from California, two from old vines in South Africa and Australia, and a 100% Grenache from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. A unique depiction of the most important Grenache-producing countries in the world, and a reflection of the wide range of possible styles of wine obtained from a grape that has become very fashionable over the past ten years.
