First edition of the Madrid Fusión Pastry 2025 National Competition for the Best Sweet Migas
The Diputación of Huesca, through the company TuHuesca (Tourism of the Province of Huesca) and for the promotion of the brand 'Your Province, Huesca, the Sweet Magic', launches the call for the celebration of the first edition of the competition 'The Best Sweet Breadcrumbs'. Participants, whether they are chefs or pastry chefs, will be able to demonstrate their culinary skills by preparing a sweet recipe that pays homage to this traditional dessert of popular gastronomy.
The winner will be announced live on Monday 27 January 2025, after the competition has taken place during the Madrid Fusión Pastry Tu Provincia, Huesca, La Magia Dulce Gastronomic Summit.
Until 22 December 2024, all professionals who wish to do so can take part in the competition by submitting their best sweet migas recipe. From all the recipes received, Madrid Fusión Alimentos de España will select six to take part in the grand final of the competition, to be held at Madrid Fusión Alimentos de España 2025.
Entrants must submit a single recipe, accompanied by a technical sheet detailing the ingredients and preparation process, and a high-resolution photo (minimum 300 dpi) in .jpg format.
This documentation must be sent by email to paula@grupgsr.com (for the attention of Paula), together with the participant's identification details (name, email address, telephone number and place of work).
The jury, made up of prestigious journalists and chefs, as well as professionals from the gastronomy and food sector, will declare a single winner of the competition, who will receive a prize on behalf of Tu provincia, Huesca, La Magia Dulce (Diputación Provincial de Huesca through TuHuesca) consisting of a package of products from the province of Huesca valued at 1,000 euros.
