A late-blooming chef who started cooking in his fifties, he practices a cuisine free of rules and dictates, where love of the product is paramount.

Bruno Verjus lived many lives before opening his restaurant Table in Paris. Medical student, entrepreneur, blogger, journalist, author, television and radio personality, this self-taught chef has made his way through life without looking back.

His charismatic personality gives his cuisine great freedom. He combines a love of products and producers with the search for the perfect gesture. With no menu to choose from, he invents his own daily menu from what he receives from his producers. At Table, nothing is prepared in advance, everything is done on the spot.

For Bruno Verjus, cooking means never taking your eyes off the living, respecting it in the choice of products, the art of cutting and respecting the balance. Above all, there is a lot of freedom, humanity and love in his cooking. A philosophy he put down in writing in 'L'Art de nourrir', written during the pandemic and now translated into several languages.

He was awarded his first Michelin star in 2018 and his second four years later.
