Sommelier and owner of Yaín (Teruel, Spain)

He studied at the Escuela de Hostelería de Teruel and continued his training in restaurants such as Zalacaín (Madrid) and La Enoteca Pinchiorri (Florence). His interest led him to join the team of sommeliers at elBulli, where he worked in 2005 and 2006.

In 2010 he won the official competition for the best sommelier in Spain and in 2013 he represented Spain at the World Sommelier Competition in Tokyo. In 2021, he will be awarded Best Sommelier of the Year in Spain by the IWC (International Wine Challenge Merchand Awards).

Qualified as an Advanced Sommelier by The Court of Master Sommeliers in London, he works and collaborates as a taster with other companies in the wine world. He is a Corresponding Member of the Aragonese Academy of Gastronomy and currently works as a Technical Teacher of Vocational Training at the CPIFP School of Hospitality and Tourism in Teruel, combining this activity with that of the restaurant.
