Davit Narimanishvili
Chef at Nunuka (Madrid, Spain)
He has made Georgian cuisine and its traditions known internationally, where the key to success lies in maintaining the authenticity of Georgian flavours while opting for a sophisticated cuisine.
Davit was born in Tbilisi, Georgia and arrived in Barcelona in 2008. He entered the world of cooking almost by chance, looking for a job and working in classic establishments such as the kitchen of the Avenida Palace. A few years later, he decided to train professionally and did so at the Escuela Superior de Hostelería Hofmann. He also trained at the Basque Culinary Centre, working with chefs such as Rodrigo de la Calle and Diego Guerrero.
Back in his native country, he opened his own restaurant, kevri, which takes a look at traditional Georgian cuisine from a haute cuisine perspective. In parallel with this project, he has worked as a brand chef at Barbarestan, a 50 Best Discovery Tibilisi restaurant, and Nunuka Madrid.
