Jordi Gallés

Executive Chairman of Europastry S.A. (Rubí, Barcelona, Spain)

With a degree and an MBA in Economics from the ESADE Business School, and a CEMS Master's from the HEC University in Paris, his professional career is linked to the family business run by his father, Pere Gallés, the founder of Europastry.

In 1994 he joined Le Bon Pain De France, and alongside Cristian Denys he learned the emerging business of ultrafrozen uncooked bread and ultrafrozen pastry in France. In 1996 he joined Europastry, where he has spent most of his professional career in a number of posts in finance, operations, marketing and sales.

In 2004 he was appointed managing director of the company, and in 2010 he took over from his father as executive chairman of Europastry.
