Eneko Atxa’s cuisine is both roots and poetry. The ennoblement of produce combined with aesthetically pleasing dishes, its philosophy is one of social commitment: health and the environment.

Eneko Atxa is one of the most important names in international gastronomy. Winner of the 2015 National Gastronomy Prize, he runs the restaurants Eneko in Larrabetzu*, Bilbao*, London, Tokyo and Lisbon, as well as his original restaurant Azurmendi – three Michelin stars and the Most Sustainable Restaurant recognition by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants. He has a total of five Michelin stars. This native of Biscay – whose food is like poetry on a plate – is on the technical Committee of San Sebastián Gastronomika, and last year won European Chef of the Year at Madrid Fusión, among other awards.
