The search for the best steak tartare joins the Madrid Fusion Food from Spain competitions

 

Until 12 December 2024, all professionals wishing to take part in the championship can submit a single recipe for their steak tartare. From all the recipes received, Madrid Fusión Alimentos de España will select the six best to take part in the grand final of this championship during the Congress, using meat from La Finca Jiménez Barbero.

Entrants must send a single recipe, accompanied by a technical sheet detailing the ingredients and preparation process, and a high-resolution photo (minimum 300 dpi) in .jpg format. It is essential that no chemical additives of any kind are used in the preparation of the recipe. This documentation, together with your identification details (name, email, telephone number and place of work), must be sent by email to daniel@grupgsr.com (for the attention of Daniel).

A unique format to highlight the art of room service

For this first edition, all participants will compete simultaneously in front of an expert jury made up of renowned journalists and chefs, as well as gastronomy and food sector specialists, who will select a single winner of the championship. Aspects such as technique, presentation, interaction with the public and, of course, the final taste of the dish will be evaluated.

Each contestant will have to demonstrate their expertise in live cooking and add their own personal touch. The aim of this championship is to highlight the value of a tradition that continues to captivate diners and to emphasise the importance of room service as an integral part of the gastronomic experience.
