Finalists choosen for the Championship for the Best Joselito Ham Croquette


Coinciding with the 19th International Summit on Gastronomy, Madrid Fusión and Jose-lito have joined hands for the 7th edition of the Championship for the Best Joselito Ham Croquette – one of the congress’s emblematic contests.

7 finalists have been shortlisted from among the 40 recipes submitted, and will present their ‘best croquette’ made with the gastronomic gem @jamonjoselito

The shortlisted finalists are:

Senén González, from the restaurant Sagartoki (Vitoria, Álava)

Álex García, from the restaurant Umm Food & Drink (Logroño, La Rioja)

Antonio Navarro, from the restaurant Essentia (Tarancón, Cuenca)

Daniel Zarzavilla, from the restaurant Tragatá (Ronda, Málaga)

Javier Sanz & Juan Sahuquillo, from the restaurant Cañitas Maite (Casas-Ibáñez, Albacete)

Diego Pérez, from the restaurant Bina Bar (Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz)

Martín Comamala, from the restaurant 539 Plats Forts (Puigcerdà, Girona)
The judging panel, made up of professionals from the world of gastronomy and food journalism, will announce the outright winner on Wednesday, 2 June 2021.

The winner will receive the title of 7th International Joselito Champion for the Best Jose-lito Ham Croquette, in addition to an exclusive Vintage Joselito Ham.
